This last week Governor Desantis suspended our gas tax (.25 per gallon), and we are now seeing gas approach the “under $3.00” mark. In California, they are just now breaking the $7.00 per gallon mark.
Anyone care to explain how this is not a “blue” print for disaster?
I was an intelligence analyst in the Army for two decades, so I see things other people do not. My blog may reflect some of these observations. A tomato is never just a tomato in my world.

When we moved to AZ gas was $2.10 here. Now it’s $4.99. Still better than where I left!
Tax has been over a dollar forever. They say it’s in the .60, but there’s additional fees. Also, they have a special blend for the summer months that is more expensive. Number three they haven’t built refineries in decades.

The gas tax out in California must be extraordinarily high. What else could account for $2-$4 per gallon difference?
